Delete Your Routebook Account & Data
Routebook doesn't run its own account database — you sign in with your Google Account, and your trip data lives in a Google Sheet that you own. That means deleting your account is a self-service process you can complete in a few minutes, entirely in your own control.
Step 1 — Revoke Routebook's Google access
This immediately disconnects Routebook from your Google Account and revokes its ability to read or write your Sheets and Drive files.
- Go to your Google Account permissions page.
- Find "Routebook" in the list of connected apps.
- Select it and click "Remove Access".
Step 2 — Delete your trip & expense data
Your trip, expense, sales, and profit records live in a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive — Routebook never copies this data anywhere else.
- Open Google Drive and locate the Routebook spreadsheet.
- Move the file to Trash, then empty Trash to permanently delete it — or delete individual rows if you only want to clear specific records.
If you joined a team created by someone else, your entries live in the team owner's spreadsheet. Contact the team owner, or email us at products.qubixcode@gmail.com and we'll help coordinate removal.
Step 3 — Clear data stored on your device
Routebook caches your session and profile (name, email, photo) on your device so you don't have to sign in every time.
- Sign out from within the app, or
- Uninstall Routebook — this removes all locally cached data immediately.
What gets deleted, and when
| Data | Deleted by | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Google Account access (name, email, photo, Sheets/Drive permission) | Step 1 | Immediate |
| Trip & expense records (in your Google Sheet) | Step 2 | Immediate — you own the file |
| Cached session & profile on device | Step 3 | Immediate |
Routebook has no server-side database, so none of your data is retained by us after these steps — there is no additional retention period.
Want to delete only some of your data?
You don't need to disconnect your whole account to remove specific records — open your Routebook spreadsheet in Google Sheets and delete individual rows for the trips or expenses you want gone. If you'd rather we assist directly, email products.qubixcode@gmail.com with your account email and what to remove.
